Are they still a tail-to-tail nightmare, David? I recall a miserable journey from Harrow to Richmond using both routes. It would have been quicker to walk.

The last time I used the N/S Circular Roads they were pretty bad. At least the North Circular Road for most past is dual carriageway, the South Circular is just a name of various roads joined up.
