I remember when they wanted to fine the LAS for ambulances using bus lanes, unless the ambulance was ‘On an emergency call’.

A neighbour of ours got ‘nicked’ speeding in a police vehicle after completing a very long night shift. Just greed, bet they’ve never worked nights keeping the public safe.
