I have often wondered similarly myself. Are there any statistics on bicycle paseenger injuries and desths, I wonder?
And how long before some genius invents a way of adding a child carrier to an electric scooter?

Yes. I can see electric scooters carrying children precariously at 30mph. However, the good news is that this will be the last Weekly Whinge for some time!
