We have certainly become more like our American cousins eating junk food , although I try to avoid it myself. The only time I have eaten outside in London was at the Cabmens shelter at Russell Square. Two bacon and egg sarnies and a mug of tea! Excellent it was too!
I can vaguely remember being taken to what I think was a Lyons tea house? Or was it a Corner house? I must have been about four or five and living in Poplar. Proper London 🇬🇧
