My Dad says that being a Londoner has nothing to do with where you’re born. He says that there are people who get off a jumbo jet at Heathrow, go through immigration waving any kind of passport, hop on the tube and by the time the train’s pulled into Piccadilly Circus they’ve become a Londoner.

I have to disagree with his dad. Being a Londoner is so much more than just living in that city.
Best wishes, Pete.

Yes, being a Londoner takes years of living in the city.

And actually being born and raised there is something that gets inside of you. No matter how long I have lived away from London now, when someone asks me “Where are you from?”, I always say “London”.
