When I founded the first Hard Rock, no one was serving American food in London; McDonald’s wasn’t there, Burger King, etc.

Went there once with friends. Had to queue outside for quite a while, and when we got in it was so noisy we could hardly hear ourselves talk. The food was good, but as soon as we had finished eating and didn’t order anything else, they brought the bill and asked us to pay and leave. It was too successful for its own good, I suppose. We never went back.
Best wishes, Pete.

These days it would give me indigestion with all that noise as I was trying to eat.
