  • ‪25 April 1854: John Ruskin found two envelopes at his home in Herne Hill, one contained a wedding ring and the second divorce papers served by his wife Euphemia Gray. Six years of unconsummated marriage had preceded this event brought about by Ruskin's 'body hair trauma' as he was accustomed to hairless nudes in paintings‬ 25 April, 2026
